Day 2 ~ Clearfield, PA to Boston (via Scanton)

We traveled around 460 miles today. We started out fresh with a stop at Sheetz: the future of convenience store shopping! We made at stop in Scranton, PA, famous for the TV show The Office. We went to Steam Town Mall and ate at Alfedos (the one with the good pizza). Made good time to Boston (officially entering Dunkin' Donuts territory!) and met Alex for dinner in Cambridge. For all you sweltering in the heat down south, it was about 75 in Boston with a nice sea breeze. We found our home for the next 4 days in North Andover. Plans for Sunday: take the train into Boston; Red Sox vs. Tigers; hang out with Alex after the game. (double click pictures to see them bigger)

Day 1 ~ Nashville to Clearfield, PA

Day 1: 648 miles on the road! We spent about 1.5 hours in Columbus, Ohio in a traffic jam but we heard geat local radio and kept seeing the same guy in a jeep acting as if he were about to exit the vehicle. We pushed through and made it further up the road where we played McDonalds Bingo in the parking lot. Here's how that works: After you pay at the drive tru, they tell you to pull up and park somewhere and they'll bring you your order. After about 10 minutes a guy came out with 3 bags and asked us what we ordered. We told him and after initially arguing with us, he declared us a winner and we were awarded our food. As we pulled off, we heard him yelling across the parking lot to another car, "What did you order?"
